It’s the foundation for your face to keep it lasting all day long. You have to set up the rest of your makeup routine for success. Be it how you apply, what products you use, or how to find your favorite shade – here are a few things to keep in mind before applying your next face of makeup. So you have all the best makeup products for fair skin in your makeup bag, now what? I admit I’m certainly not a makeup artist or expert in any sense, but I do have a few makeup tips for fair skin application that I swear by. So ok, let’s dive into my top makeup finds for fair skin. They run across the board for price points so I hope if you have pale skin like me you can find a few items that work for you.

Lately, here are the 15 makeup products I currently own, use, and love that work well on my fair skin. From iconic drugstore brands to more high-end department store lines…I’ve used them all it seems. I’ve tried a lot, and I mean a lot of makeup in my day. But now that makeup brands are making such huge strides in an effort to include products for those on the far ends of the shade spectrum, I’ve created my own “must-have” list of makeup for fair skin. And not going to lie, I feel that sometimes us super fair girls often get left out in the color palette spectrum.

By understanding skin tones and how undertones play an important role in the way makeup products look on me, I was finally able to find a beauty routine that actually suited my fair skin.ĭon’t get me wrong, it can be challenging to find hues that are flattering to your skin tone and makeup that seamlessly blends into your own complexion. Let’s just say I looked less like a Florida surfer girl in my teens and early 20’s and more like an Oompa Loompa. Long were the days of piling on a foundation to cover my blemishes and bronzer to give the illusion of a sunkissed glow. And with that newfound appreciation, I had to update my entire skin care and makeup routine. But as I got older, I learned to love and embrace my fair skin. I would spend hours in the sun (even the tanning bed…yikes!) to get that perfect bronzed glow. My fair skin was covered with freckles, I had acne along with lots of scarring. For a long time, I used to hate my complexion.
